In the upcoming expansion, Eye of the North, A new race of colosal humanoids called the Norns are introduced, human looking and, since it's Guild Wars... good looking!

one of them will join your party as a "hero" pretty early in the campaign her name is Jara and she's the girl on the expansion's box.she's in many cinematics and you can somewhat control her... I would say the norns are about 8 to 10 feet tall.
