Hi,
I'm targeting a Virtex 6 device, part number . I plan to AC couple the MGT transmit signals.
The concern I have is that I plan to operate the MGTs at 6.25G and the current capacitor I plan to use has a ESR of 20 ohms at 6.25G.
I plan to use a Kemet capacitor and I used their simulator to find the ESR.
Should I be concerned with such a high ESR cap on the MGT transmit signals?
Please help.
Thanks!
I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
