The Eyes of the Beholder

Josh was a very wealthy man. His family developed a very successful fast food business when he was just a child, and knew that life would be smooth sailing from then on.

He had a great big mansion, resting on a hill on the coast of Honolulu, Hawaii, and numerous butlers waiting on his hand and foot. Katie, Josh's sweet and kind girlfriend was a rare catch in his eyes. They had met in high school and had quickly fallen in love with one another soon after. Of course everyone thought they were married for the amount of time that they have spent together, but they were not. In everyone's mind, they might as well have been.

Katie spent most of her free time(there was a lot of it) doing things for the community; like spending time at the local retirement home, playing Bingo with many of the friends she had met there. Josh always loved and respected that part of Katie, and had always encouraged her to continue doing what she did best: bring a smile to anyone she met.

There was something hidden deep below Josh's buttered frame though, something that he knew he could never speak of to Katie. As kind and selfless as Katie was, it was her beauty that Josh could not look past. Her body did not intoxicate him as potently as he wished. He wanted someone that could make him fidget in his chair during dinner, awaiting anxiously to get in bed with her that very same night.

But regardless of his hidden desires, he still loved Katie more than anything. Her bright blond hair, and blue eyes was the reason he woke up each morning. However, breaking up with Katie was not an option; he loved her too much. The next day Josh went walking through the mall, in search for the perfect Valentine's day gift for his beloved girlfriend. Being so incredibly rich gave him certain privileges that many average people could not dream of enjoying. Spending thousands of dollars on a single visit to the mall was not uncommon for Josh. It was expected.

Quickly he spotted a fairly well decorated cart, loaded with hats, rings, and bracelets in the middle of the walking zone of the mall. Strange, he thought. I've never seen that here before.

A heavily make-upped old lady, with dark brown hair and a handkerchief cover the top of her head quickly caught eye of him and approached him swiftly, like a shark.

"See anything you like?" her expression was cheerful, but her eyes still pierced through Josh. Josh figured she was trying to put on her best saleswoman expression.

"No, no thank you. I'm just browsing."

"Oh, but of course." She smiled, respectfully.

Josh circled the cart, appreciating all the colorful rings and jewelry hanging from every corner of the cart. It's probably all fake, he thought to himself.

"Oh no no, I assure you it's all real." she appeared from one side of the cart.

An expression of surprise fell upon Josh's face. Did I just say that out loud?

"H-How di-" The strange old woman threw a knowing smile at him and turned her back towards him to retrieve a sparkling necklace.

"You see this necklace here, Josh? Well, you could say that they're fake and made of plastic...but could a fake Dragon's Eye Gem do this?

She slapped her hands together and began chanting something quietly to herself. Quickly she grabbed onto Josh's wrist and placed the necklace onto his open palm.

"Look into the gem. What do you see?"

His eyes lit up as he saw a giant red dragon, with glowing yellow eyes beaming back at him from inside the gem. A sea of fire spewed around behind it.

"You see there, kiddo, that's no fake plastic gem you got there. It was crafted by an old dwarf friend of mine high up in the mountains of Gar'zhen, but I wouldn't expect you to know anything about that now, would you? That was a long time ago."

Josh was left speechless. Up until now he had let her do all the talking.

"Who are y--"

"I'm Malah. Some people call me a witch, others a wizard, but it doesn't matter to me. I help those who are in need...for a price."

She threw her right arm into the air, knowingly "Ah, And I know exactly why you're here!" Her loose robe sleeves shifted around her arms. She sat herself down onto a stool. "You want to give your dear girlfriend, Katie, a gift for Valentine's Day... but you wish you could have something for yourself as well. I can help you with that, you know."

"How?", a spark of interest crept into Josh's voice.

"I know how you feel about her, Josh. She's not enough for you. What if I told you that I could change all that? Just let me know how you want it done. You know that I'm talking about."

"Well..." He thought to himself for a moment, "Maybe something quick? I dun'no, I'm not exactly well versed in witchcraft."

She gave a hardy laugh to the thin man standing before her.

"Well, how about a phrase?", she suggested

Her fairly large frame leaned forward towards Josh, and she explained to him about a simple phrase that,when pronounced correctly, could throw him into an alternate reality, where his girlfriend would be different. "She would become bigger and Better in every way.", as she put it.

That sounded right up Josh's alley...but there must be a catch, he thought. You know, with all those deceitful witches he's seen in movies.

Once more, Malah sensed his apprehension, "Oh no no no no no, I assure there's no catch." A dumbfounded expression befell over Josh once more. I can't hide anything from this lady, he thought. "Just plain old, genuine, black magic."

"Be careful though, Josh" she explained, " Don't get carried away."

At this point and time, all Josh cared about was getting back home to Katie to start the new beginning of his life!

Josh whipped out his pocket full of cash and said "How much?"

Josh arrived home late that evening. The big brown mahogany doors seemed to greet him upon his arrival that night. Katie was just on the other side of that door, ready to greet him with a box of chocolates in hand.

"Happy Valentine's Day , sweetheart!" Katie said, as she ran up to give her big man a great big hug and kiss.

"Awww you shouldn't have, honey." Josh came prepared with a bouquet of roses, and exchanged them between his girlfriend. Katie guided him into the living room where she had the fireplace going and lights slightly dimmed.

Josh began, "I'm so glad I met you, hun. I can't thank god enough for all that he has given me." She smiled up at him from their couch.

The fireplace sparked faintly..

"And I'm so glad I met you too, Babe." Josh leaned in and caressed her body snuggly.

His mind was not at ease though. The conversation made him think more about their future together. She was happy with what she had, and so was Josh, but the main train of thought that split Josh between Katie's was that he wouldn't mind her having more, in fact, he insisted it.

All Josh could think of, everything that he thought of while driving back home, was about whether or not he should explain to her about what had happened at the mall.

Josh knew how she felt about her own body. Not only just then, but before. They had spoken many times before, vaguely, about whether she would mind having bigger boobs, but... after some careful thoughts he decided against it.

Josh's mind was askew. His brain formed images of his girlfriend while his eyes were closed, only she wasn't the Katie he knew. Her breasts were full and rested high on her chest. Josh woke up silently. It was in the middle of the night. He peered over his puffed up pillows and saw that his girlfriend was fast asleep next to him.

He thought to himself, this would be the perfect time to...

A soft moan escaped Katie's mouth. I wonder what she's dreaming about, he pondered.

"Never mind that!", he argued with himself.

He was tense, already. He knew it was wrong, but his male mind pushed and provoked him to this point! "It's not like I'm hurting her", he thought.

Well... here goes nothing.

Josh took a deep breath and spoke the magical words.

"aoukla..."

The room fell silent. You could hear a pin drop to the ground, and it would make Josh jump. His eyes darted from one side of the room, to the other, wondering if he had possibly pronounced it improperly.

He tilted his head up and rested his upper-body weight on his elbows. Well she looked the same, he thought.

Another similar moan from earlier escaped her mouth, "Uhhgghnnn...", but this time it seemed more exasperated.

Slowly, he noticed Katie fidgeting in her sleep. Wait... no...she wasn't fidgeting. He slowly slid his left arm over her body. It was warm. "Oh god, I hope I didn't mispronounce it!" he exclaimed to himself, now full of fear that he may have hurt her.

His dirty mind, still intact enough to explore her subtle curves, moved slowly around her body until it met up with her left breast. He gently groped it, and squeezed its softness.

Slowly the growth faded, and her body temperature returned to normal. It appeared as if her pajamas had grown along with herself. How convenient, Josh implied.

The next morning Josh woke up feeling like it was Christmas. His body felt anew and that internal alarm clock inside him was screaming "Hey, get the hell up! You've got presents!" He knew the day would bring him many wondrous... things.

The covers next to him was empty, and he could hear the faint trickling of the shower running.

Had she not noticed? Josh wondered.

Josh crept up to the bathroom door and opened it slightly to have a peek. Immediately Josh's eyes blew up in surprise. She was definitely taller. He knew by an old body comparison he used to do with her. He knew that her head should have been equal to the height of the tower rack, but it wasn't. She was about an inch taller! A closer look at Katie's wet body proved other things had changed as well. Her breasts didn't appear larger, but they rested higher on her chest. Katie sang to herself quietly while rinsing the soap out from her golden blond hair. It also seemed as if her hair glowed more vibrantly today.

Josh turned the door knob and slowly shut the door, making sure not to make a sound.

*kcreeek*, the sound of the shower turning off caused Josh to jump. "I need to fix that damn thing." he commented. He could hear her step out of the shower and begin toweling herself off. Josh quickly jumped back into bed and faked being asleep still.

Just then he heard the bathroom door open. His eyes were shut intensely. Calm down...calm down, he told himself, and let his eye-lids relax.

"ahh..." a comforting sigh escaped Katie's mouth as she entered the room.

Josh squinted his eyes to make it appear that he was still sleep, but still able to see. He had mastered the art of fake sleeping ever since he was a young boy.

Her body was facing straight at the bed, with her arms up in the air, drying her beautiful long hair out. Josh stared intensely into her soft, firm mounds of woman flesh that sat right in front of him. Oh god, they looked so good, he thought.

At that moment, he felt that attraction he had so eagerly desired.

"Morning, babe." he replied.

"I made breakfast downstairs."

"You did?!" Wow, he thought, she's never done that. Usually it's one of our chiefs.

"Mhmm, and I made your favorite: Sausage and Scrambled Eggs!" Josh heard the 'Ahh' sound coming from angels, like in a cartoon. He was in heaven.

Katie entered the dining room with two plates full of food.

"There ya' go! That one's for you. I hope you like it."

How kind. "I'm sure it's great, honey. Thank you very much."

She gave him a pearly white smile and sat down next to him.

"You know, I was thinking about getting a job You know, just for fun."

That's strange, Josh thought. Why would anybody want to work if they didn't have to?

"I feel like I have something to give to the community." she answered, almost as if reading my mind.

"Well what did you have in mind on doing?"

"We'll see, I'm not quite sure yet."

The whole conversation was strange. Josh decided to end the subject by focusing more intently on his plate.

Later in the evening, Josh and Katie decided the park sounded like a great place to go catch a glimpse of the orange sunset.

A long thin cobblestone pathway encircled the giant lake of the park. They both walked down from their car and began walking.

"You know, there's just something about the air lately. I feel like something inside me just clicked, like that...", she snapped her fingers "..., and for no reason. I see the world clearer now. I think it may be because I'm spending more time with you." shyly, she tilted her head.

Her delicate hands slid underneath Josh's jacket and snuggled up against him. A gust of wind blew softly and caused Katie's hair to blow softly. The moment was surreal. Her eyes were soft and stared down innocently at the ripples of the water.

With a soft sigh of relief, Katie whispered closely "You know, I don't think life can get any better than this." she reached over and grabbed onto Josh's torso. He responded by wrapping his big arms around her.

"I agree, we're pretty lucky. I mean, if it wasn't for my family lu--

Katie began to shake, almost as if she was having convulsions.

"K-K-Katie, are you alright!?!" Josh stuttered in a panic!

He caught her just as she was beginning to fall to the ground.

"MuhMuhmuMmMMMmmmyy b-boddyy-- I-I-Iieee feeel weiird-d" She responded, while her body shook uncontrollably. Her eyes were locked onto Josh's.

And then, just like that, it stopped. Almost as if he had just been daydreaming, the scary event had completely disappeared. There he was, still waltzing with Katie, down the park's cobblestone pathway.

Still in a state of panic, Josh blurted out "Wha-What just happened!" The startled Katie, who was still latched onto him, jumped away from him in shock.

"What what!?!" She screamed, looking around.

"Are you alright?!" He asked, still panicking, but with concern.

"Yea, are you?" She stared at him as if he was insane.

It was then that he realized. Something was dreadfully wrong. He did a quick body comparison with Katie, and noticed she had 'developed'. Not just in one way or another, but everywhere. Her breasts were larger, her ass and thighs were more pronounced, her jawline was more apparent, yet subtle, and her hair seemed to glow even brighter.

He tried to play it off "*cough* Yea, ummm, sorry. Thought I saw something, guess it was a...squirrel or something."

Her eyes stayed locked on his, in disbelief. "Uh huh...alright.." She slipped back into Josh's arms, but not as snuggly.

After a few minutes of walking without saying a word to each other, Katie broke the silence.

"You know, I'm really glad you supported me about getting a job. I know you think it's stupid, but wait 'till I tell you what I have in mind on doing."

Josh's eyebrows rose up in interest "What? Oh, I know! A perfume-sprayer lady." He said, comically at her, while cracking sarcastic smile.

She smiled back, baring her full white teeth"Haha, ya! You got it right on! Yea, but no, really-- I was thinking about becoming an inventor. You know, just for thing that the everyday American could use."

"You've got a couple things in mind?"

"Yea a couple, but they're not quite finished yet."

"Well you need to show me! This sounds great, honey!" He gave her a kiss on the forehead. Being the supportive boyfriend was a good thing!
