A Maternal Need

1.

Sarah drove down a deserted highway on her way home to stay with her Aunt Carol for a few weeks during the summer.  Upon her parent's death when she was two, Sarah Hatcher had been placed with her aunt until she entered college.  Thus, it was her aunt that had taught the 4 ft. 2 in. 85 lb. senior at USC to be as independent as possible.  Anyway, she was on her way home for a few weeks before she began her hunt for a job in her chosen field of computer programming when her car suddenly stopped running for some reason.  Not having a direct line to the auto club, Sarah decided to try to find and repair the malfunction herself.  Grabbing a step stool from the trunk of her car, Sarah set to work.  Opening her hood, the first thing she checked was her car battery.  It was dead.
"Now what the hell am I supposed to do?" she thought.  She jumped off the stool and put it back in her trunk.  Doing the only other thing she could think of, Sarah looked around to see if she could find a place with a phone.  To her delight, Sarah spotted a house about a mile down the road.  Whether or not it had a phone was another story entirely.  That there was anything at all that close was a bit of luck.  So, after locking up her car, Sarah set off down the road toward the house.  The walk took about five minutes.  This was a fact about which Sarah was quite pleased considering she walked the distance on a daily basis anyway.  Reaching the front door of the secluded dwelling, Sarah knocked and waited.  Seconds later, the door opened and Sarah found herself staring straight into two of the largest, longest, legs she had ever seen.  Following the huge leges upward, Sarah saw two basketballs that rose about a foot above her head.  Suddenly, the "basketballs" bent over and looked right at Sarah with two blue pools that smiled widely.
"Is that your car down the road, Little Girl?"
"Um, yes it is," Sarah said nervously.  "I have a dead battery."
"Well I'm sorry, Dear," the woman said.  "I know nothing about car batteries.  But why don't you let me go pull your car up here and put it in my garage."
"Well if you have a phone, I can call a tow truck and have it taken to a service station."
"Even if you did, Young Lady, it's the 4th of July weekend.  Nothing's open until Monday.  Why don't you let me at least call a neighbor and have your car towed out of the road.  Meanwhile, I'll put you up in my guest room."
"Oh you're too kind, Miss, Mrs.?"
"Just call me Nancy," the woman said scooping Sarah up in a cradle and carrying her into the house like a baby.  "Nancy Sommerfeild.  And you are?"
"I'm S-Sarah Hatcher," The tiny brunette answered.
At 54, Nancy Sommerfield had always longed to have kids.  But early in her life, she was told she couldn't get pregnant.  Whether or not that was because of her overactive growth hormone, doctors either couldn't, or wouldn't say.  But whatever the reason, Nancy compensated by baby-sitting at a young age.  As she grew, men became a problem for Nancy.  They were either intimidated by her immense height or put off because of her inability to get pregnant.  Finally, she just accepted her lonely existance.  At least until she ran across a little dark haired beauty happened to end up on her doorstep.  The idea of finally having a bit of company completely thrilled Nancy.  And she was going to enjoy every minute with the tiny brunette.  As for Sarah, there seemed to be no way to leave the house.  Nor would she be able to contact her aunt for the next 24 hours.  The only thing Sarah could really do now was accept her situation and make the best of it for however long it lasts.  Sarah's thoughts were interrupted when Nancy sat down and touched her arm.
"You must be tired after your long trip, Honey," Nancy said.  "I have your bed made up.  Why don't you let me take you upstairs and put you down for a nap."
"You know what, Nancy? A nap really doesn't sound like a bad idea.  Why don't you tell me where the room is and I'll go lie down for a while."
"Well the bed might be a bit high for you.  Why don't you let me come in with you in case you need help getting into bed."
"Suit yourself, Lady!  I just want a nap!"
"The bedrooms are upstairs, Sarah.  Be careful.  It's a sharp rise."

As Sarah followed Nancy through the house, she took the time to note the immense furniture that occupied each room.  As she did, she wondered how long she would really have to spend here with this Giantess.  Sarah knew it would be a few days at least until anyone would be available to hear the problem.  And once they did, whoever agreed to fix the problem would decide how long it would take.  Needless to say, Sarah knew she'd be here a while.  Thank heaven she had her suitcase with her.
"It seems I'm gonna be here a few days, Nancy," Sarah said wearily.  "Would you go get the suitcase out of the back seat of my car, please?"
"Sure, Honey.  I'll get it as soon as I put you to bed.  Ah!  Here we are!  The guest room's just down the hall."
As they entered the guest room, Sarah suddenly was thankful to have Nancy with her.  Approaching the bed, Sarah was surprised to see that it came up to just under her tiny breasts.  Without being asked, Nancy slipped her hands under Sarah's arms and lifted her into the gigantic bed.  She then bent at the waist and took Sara's sneakers off her feet.
"You won't need these here, Sarah," said Nancy putting the tiny footwear up on the top shelf of a closet.  "So I'll just put them up here."
Returning to the bed, Nancy's heart melted as she watched Sara's eyes droop and finally close in peaseful slumber.  Reaching down to pull the blanket over the sleeping figure, Nancy bent and kissed Sarah's cheek lightly.
"Sleep, my Pretty," she whispered.  "Sleep well."
While Sarah slept peacefully, Nancy went down to her car and grabbed the suitcase where Sarah had said it was.  Re turning to the guest room, Nancy lay the suitcase on the floor, opened it and began hanging its contents on hangers in the closet.  The clothes she couldn't hang were placed in a dresser on the opposite end of the room.  While she worked, Nancy held up each artical of clothing and looked over at Sarah trying to determine which one the little women would look cutest in.  Finding nothing that particularly caught her eye, Nancy decided she would take the little woman shopping as soon as the opportunity presented itself.  With that job  completed, Nancy went back downstairs and started supper.  After another fourty minutes, the smell of honey glazed ham traveled upstairs and filled Sara's nose with an aroma the likes of which she hadn't smelled since she left home for college.  Sarah honestly couldn't think of any better way to be awakened from a nap.  Then, the sound of a toilet flushing told Sarah that Nancy was upstairs again.
"Hey, Nancy!  Is that ham I smell?!"
"It sure is, Pumpkin!" Nancy said entering the room.  "I hope you like it!"
"With pineapple?"
"How else would you expect to eat ham?"
"Well to be honest, Nancy, ILOVE ham baked that way!"
"Good," Nancy said tossing the blanket back to pig Saraup in her arms.  "Then let's get down there to supper.  It's almost ready!"
Once downstairs, Nancy could alreay see they might have a problem finding a chair that best fit Sarah.  She put Sarah in one of the regular chairs.  Sadly, Sarah's breasts brushed the edge of the table top.
"Hmmm," Nancy thought with a serious look on her face.  "This isn't good.  Tell me, Sarah.  How would you feel about sitting on a stack of books?"
"We could try, I guess.  But what if I fall off?"
"Then I've got one more alternative that you may not care for."
"Nonetheless, Nancy, I think the other idea might be safer then this wabbling stack of books.  No matter how silly or embarrassing it might be."
"Well OK then," said Nancy.  "Wait here and I'll go get the high chair."
